Description

A youth on-the-land program steered by Maggie Lucy Kilabuk with the support of the Hamlet of Pangnirtung and the Pangnirtung Hunters and Trappers Association, and in partnership with ARCTIConnexion and the Prairie Climate Centre. Launched in 2019, the program promotes intergenerational knowledge exchange of traditional practices and local culture through hunting and fishing and allows youth to express themselves through video production and visual arts. The program also addresses concerns related to country food and climate change.

This project is funded through the Climate Change and Health Adaptation Program and the Climate Change Preparedness in the North Program.
